Lacey nodded and smiled. She was glad to have helped.<br /> <br /> "That's good." She commented. She was curious to know if Samurai was actually pain free. Honey and chamomile didn't always mix. This ended up resulting in the chamomile's effect being somewhat dimmed. She looked back at Kalona and smiled at him.<br /> <br /> Kalona smiled back at Lacey. He turned back to Accilia. "Well I guess it's good we all found each other then. Now we all don't have to fend for ourselves alone." He said grateful to have a pack he could call home.

Accilia gave a funny stare."YEah,we are and most of us are to." she siad happily.She wagged the ends of her tail.Then looked at samurai and smiled,again,even bigger.<br /> <br /> Samurai nodded hsi head,although it still did knid of burn he didn't want to say anything.He thought it might hurt er feelings if it wasn't supposed.He looked at the other wolves all around him,he had never felt so happy to be with theses wolves.

Lacey looked up from her handiwork and glanced at the other wolves quickly.She felt like she had done something good for her new family. She probably felt so good by knowing she helped end pain in another wolf. It was the only thing that kept her smiling. <br /> <br /> Lacey softened her look and double checked the honey. "Does your leg feel any better?" She asked him. She hoped that it was better for now.<br /> <br /> Kalona couldn't help but smile. He was proud of Lacey and what she'd done. He was glad they'd both found a new home for a new life. He was also happy that his sister could do something to help benefit the rest of them.<br /> <br /> Kalona turned to Accilia and smiled. "You two are just random strangers aren't you?" He asked smiling still. Lacey's success seemed to brighten the night for him.

Lacey quickly addressed the chamomile to his wound. She put it first to help him relieve the pain, then she put honey on it.<br /> <br /> "The honey should help you out more." She told him. "It's main use is to help the wound close up. The chamomile will just help to rid you of pain." She finished applying the honey and took a step back. "How are you feeling now?" She asked him.<br /> <br /> Kalona looked over at Accilia and looked back at Lacey. There was something about the fae that kept puzzling him. He didn't know what to think anymore. Everyone had their fair share, he guessed.<br /> <br /> He looked at Samurai and watched as he let Lacey heal him. She did a great job at it. It was the only thing he ever wanted her to do. She was just so darn stubborn! He only wished his parents could have made healing seem fun for her. <br /> <br /> Kalona looked back at Accilia. "So how long have you and Samurai known each other?" He asked her. He wasn't in the mood for talking, but it seemed like a good way to get some history on her. He hoped he didn't look like he was prying, he was mainly curious about her past.

Samurai felt uneasy,he showed Lacey the cut.It was deep within his fur.All around the wound was soaked in dark red,blood.Samurai didn't like the feeling when he had moved.He blinked the last tear out of his his black eyes.His cut burnt like fire,he twitched as it hurt.He had missed his father and how he had banned him was the whole reason he started to cry.And the dream he had was so realistic.<br /> <br /> Accilia noticed something about Kakona didn't seem right.But she didn't want to poke her nose into anything.She slowly walked over to him,and sat down.She was trying to figure out what was wrong...Without saying anything to make him made.She still couldn't put this puzel together

Lacey couldn't find any direct source of pain. She wanted to try moving any of his limbs to find the pain, but didn't want to hurt him.<br /> <br /> "Samurai, where's your pain coming from?" She asked him.<br /> <br /> Kalona stared at his sister. She was doing the job she was supposed to have done in the first place, but he could tell she didn't like it. He knew she liked fighting better, but he felt safer with making her learn how to heal. He watched as she tended to his care. Kalona glanced around him at the other wolves. They were all fixated on Samurai. He continued to watch.

OCC: Um, I know this is sorta just popping out of nowhere but tomorrow I'm leaving for India and just to get there it may take up to 2 days and where I'm going, I don't know if I'll have access to the internet so I don't know what to do with Blade and Anastasia. I'm guessing you guys could pretend that they wandered off if I haven't replied in a long time. I'm so sorry!<br /> <br /> Blade peered over, fur bristling when he heard crunching pawsteps through the snow but then nodded curtly to Kalona as the brute entered. Soon the silver he-wolf was again back to inspecting Samurai.<br /> <br /> Anastasia listened to the pup with a serious expression yet one that held a hint of worry. After Lacey was through speaking she flicked her tail.<br /> <br /> "Um, well I heard that sometimes if you wake someone from their deep slumber- especially a nightmare sometimes they have a heart attack and die...I don't want that to happen," Anastasia said somewhat nervously, sniffing at the black male's body while staring at his streaking tears.<br /> <br /> Blade merely grunted at this and shook his head as if not knowing what to do.<br /> <br /> "I hate to admit it but babydoll is right. I've seen it actually happen before, not very happy. Howling into his ear will definitely give him a heart attack though. I advise we try not to do that," He commented huskily noting that Anastasia seemed to show she agreed.<br /> <br /> "Maybe we should nudge him? Gently? I don't like seeing him in this state, plus he will freeze to death at this rate!" Kalona raced out after the wolves to check on Lacey. He was glad to see she wasn't hurt. He was slightly confused though, to see Samurai crying. He wanted to ask what happened, but Anastasia beat him to it.<br /> <br /> Lacey looked up at the wolves.<br /> <br /> "I don't know what happened. When I first came out, he was asleep, but in sort of a nightmare. Then I left to get the supplies. When I came back he was still asleep. So instead of leaving him vulnerable, I stayed here. Next thing I know, he's crying in his sleep and I don't know how to wake him up." She said sighing. "I thought maybe howling in his ear would wake him." She said looking back at the brute.

Anastasia was now laying on the ground, her hazel eyes just staring out towards the darkening woods. Worry spread through her. It had been quite awhile and Lacey still hadn't returned.<br /> <br /> "Don't worry Accilia, I bet you wouldn't want to miss any action," Anastasia replied back, still staring out. Her gash was still burning and seemed to have gotten worse. It started to swell and one of her eyes was smaller than the other as the top started to swell. Any movement she made brought a manling pain.<br /> <br /> Blade huffed and seemed to try and make conversation in the tense-filled air but he had no idea what to talk about. Everyone was worried and deep down he was too. Where had the pup gone? He hoped the beat up scouts didn't find her. Then the thought occurred to the brute. Why had he lain mercy on his enemy when he could have slained him? It was starting to bother him. Something about these other wolves...they were affecting him. Normally he would have sliced his victim's throat out without any guilt.<br /> <br /> The he-wolf tried to get up but let a curt pained howl and he slumped back down, chest heaving and fire in his eyes.<br /> <br /> The white femme only glanced back towards the male and then with a sad expression told him to just relax and snot move.<br /> <br /> "Yeah right! I've been on this stupid cold ground for hours now! I don't care if this darned scar hurts when I move I'm getting up!" He hissed back irritably. <br /> <br /> Anastasia only sighed heavily and rested her head on her paws before another howl filled the air. it wasn't Blade's, nor any other wolf in the den. Suddenly the fae realized who it was. Lacey.<br /> <br /> Dread and guilt built its way into the she-wolf's stomach and she instantly leaped up, trying to ignore the ever searing pain cutting through her skull.<br /> <br /> Even Blade had leaped up, even though at first he had fallen down.<br /> <br /> Anastasia didn't know what to do. She looked questioningly at Kalona, wondering what they should do but it seemed he was waiting for their first move.<br /> <br /> "Accilia, I'm going where Lacey is, you can come if you want," She said hurriedly before tearing away towards the woods.<br /> <br /> Blade only grumbled but all the same followed after the fae, although he took longer as he had to limp.<br /> <br /> Much to her relief, Lacey was fine. next to her was a sleeping Samurai and he had tears rolling down his black cheeks.<br /> <br /> "What happened? Are you ok? What's wrong with Samurai?" It came out in a hurried rush and finally, huffing and cursing, Blade made his way and let his brown eyes fall to the black brute.<br /> <br /> "Babydoll, quit it. The pup's all right. I think it's Samurai we should be worried about," He said, laying down and relaxing his hurt leg.<br />

Lacey lifted her head upon hearing Samurai's crying. She looked at him, wondering what he could be dreaming of. It probably wasn't something good, she thought. she didn't if there was anything she could do to help him. She looked around to see if there was something she could use to wake him up. She couldn't think of anything, but howling. She didn't want to wake the others, but seeing as they were all hurt, most of them anyway, she could help heal them. She crawled close to Samurai's ear and howled loudly in it. She hoped it would wake him up.<br /> <br /> Kalona's ears perked up before he woke up. He heard Lacey howling and thought the worst. It didn't seem like it was a sad or frightened howl, but just one desperately needed. He stood up and waited for the others to wake up to decide what to do.

Samurai lay still in the snow,the dream had faded.He had been killed by the other wolves and now it was blank space in his head.Until he saw a older black wolf."Your a disgrace!You lost the dagger my father lost to save me from! You shouldn't even be called Samurai!More like coward!" the black figure faded.He had lost the dagger his grandfather took from a human and had been stabbed.But before he died he gave the dagger to Night-Brace,Samurais father.He started to cry in his sleep.He wasn't aware of anything,to tired.<br /> <br /> Accilia sighed.She was tired but was trying to fight sleep.If the other pack where to send more scouts Kalona and Accilia,and all the other wolves who weren't hurt would have to keep them safe.It was so late and if she didn't get sleep she would sleep all day tomorrow."I'm going to bed,wake me if something happens." she said yawing and lying down.

Kalona listened to Anastasia's word, but he didn't want to believe any of them. He knew Lacey was growing up, but he wanted to make sure she grew up safe. He laid his head down on his paws and tried to remember a time when Lacey ever acted violent towards him.<br /> <br /> Lacey sat by Samurai, knowing he'd be killed if he were attacked in his sleep. She didn't want to hear he'd been killed if she were to leave , knowing she could help to prevent it. She was debating on staying when she smelled a whiff of chamomile. She knew it was badly needed, so she checked her surroundings and went to find it.<br /> <br /> Lacey searched for the chamomile and found it. She knew she was far from the den, so she searched for honey and thyme as well. The honey was found rather quickly, but the thyme took longer to find. Once all was found she returned back to Samurai, who was still out cold. She looked at the den, wondering if Kalona was angry with her.

Anastasia stared wide-eyed and silent at the scene. There was tension in the air and at this point, everything seemed to be balancing on a thin line.<br /> <br /> The anger was raw in Lacey's words and actions. The white she-wolf tried to look away but she stayed frozen in the spot watching.<br /> <br /> She remembered when that scenario had happened to her like that. It felt awful, anger blinding you with its power.<br /> <br /> She had been a frail little pup. Almost a runt and everyone thought she was weak and useless and every time she'd attempt to go for a hunt or help another fellow wolf, they'd say she was too young or weak. Even she had turned two they still kept doing that to her. It was a frustrating event until she, just like Lacey had rebelled and lashed out. But of course, her consequence had been much worse.<br /> <br /> The femme sighed and then started to lay down. Kalona's body held shock in it and as he came back into the den it was still evident.<br /> <br /> "Kalona, I know you're just being a very caring and loving brother, but it's true. One day she'll be fully grown and on her own. But of course, I know how you feel, it's natural to worry," Anastasia said quietly, looking over at where Lacey had gone.<br /> <br /> Even Blade was silent during the situation and his memories seemed to unravel coldly and snake its way up to his mind. Of course, everyone thought he was the opposite of a pup- a horrible brute with a bad temper that teased everyone. Of course, his personality had come from a reason. Everyone used to bully <i> him</i>. They['d tease him, mock him, even try to get a swap at him- anything to break him down but instead it had made him angrier and more ill-tempered.<br /> <br /> The he-wolf couldn't help but smirk. That was the day when he had attacked every single wolf that had attacked him with all their heart-breaking words. Their bullying anything. He'd tease them back just as coldly and after that- he thought all wolves were the same and deserved the treatment he had gotten.<br /> <br /> Blade listened to Anastasia's words. They were gentle yet held so many mixed emotions. Blade just stared at the den wall, lost in thought and his own sad past when he realized an absence. Where had Samurai gone?<br /> <br /> Anastasia came up with the same thought and she looked around, trying to ignore the pain shattering her head. Accilia was sitting right next to her, Blade was still on the floor and Kalona was still in his own corner. Where was the black brute?<br /> <br /> Anastasia only presumed the he-wolf had gone out. It was odd, the male was acting very peculiar now a days.<br /> <br />

Kalona smiled, but still worried for Lacey. "I know she needs her space, but I just don't want her to get hurt. She's the only family I have left." He said, reminiscing on the past. "Your brother must have cared very deeply for you." He muttered, thinking about all the times Lacey got them in trouble and him having to bail them out.
